I have been asked a few times about my work. My blanket response is I am still finding myself. I hope they did not find my comment disrespectful or insular. My fine art career started a few months ago, I have not developed an identity yet. My graphic style and love for typography and systems, is my DNA and skeleton. Religion, politics and social issues would therefore be the flesh which helps bring the work to life.
I have been in contact with Steve (Director of studionAme) via email bouncing ideas. This lead me to revisiting and trying to build an understand of conceptual art again. I found this super video. It provides a synopsis, and ideal for those, like me, that have limited art knowledge.
