I found through my Twitter feed, that Curve theater in Leicester, are introducing an art event called: Inside out festival
My initial reaction was that people may think that my own solo show’s name has hijacked or took influence from this.
I thought about changing the title, but after many hours deliberating, I don’t really care what people think. The name was penciled way back last year (2017) December and it means work created outside and inside the mainstream art community.
Exciting times
I have been awarded the opportunity to do a workshop within my community. I applied for the funding to host and deliver the event to the St Matthews locals. My intention was to do this workshop before my solo show. I don’t think this is the right thing to do, because I risk diluting my attention.
