I would like to highlight Neville Brody for his superb work, and influences. You can read more about him here
Dave Carson was the go to person, when I was in college, but for me Neville Brody put in place the foundations.
It could be argued however, that Neville’s work is same/similar to De Stijl art movement.
It’s quite easy to see the comparisons, but I will let you be the judge.
