The strategy is not going as I hoped. After receiving some feedback from businesses I have approached, the plan needs to be tweaked again.

I have not created one piece of art for the solo show. My focus is on getting sponsors, which will allow me freedom to create the work. I am confident with the appropriate funds and a few months, I will produce all the artwork needed. The concepts are sketched out on paper, just need to execute.Info

Marketing Strategy
in blog onI have been developing an advertisement package for the past week. The idea is to reach out to local businesses in a marketing collaboration.
For a small fee, businesses can showcase their products or services to the wider community.
My initial vision was to capture few companies for a larger price. I do not want to close off the opportunity to work with smaller enterprises, so I think Package A and B would be a more viable option. Option A will be a premiere product, this would include billboard endorsement, website link and first refusal on future events. Option B will be an advertisement booklet.
Gallery Survey
in blog onI completed the gallery survey on 16.01.2018. The still images were stitched together to create the video. This is a my first time lapse attempt, so I am delighted by the results. The video is posted on You Tube and you can see the results below.
The purpose, is to fit the artwork around the space. This process will allow me to work slicker and be more efficient. One challenge I am facing is managing time. I am currently working part time, providing graphic design services and trying to make a ruckus in the art world.
As I write, I have not made 1 piece of art for the solo show. So game on…
New Site Launched
in blog onWelcome to my new website. The previous holding page was helpful, but I needed a more substantial, and content driven portal.
I tried to meet my target, which was to create the website within one week. I managed to do this over many unsociable hours, and a few head scratch moments.
The intent of this site is to inform the wider community and capture my art journey.
