Updates
By adamkhalifa in blog onI was unable to post up last week. The reason for this, is due to workload and schedule. My working days and weeks have been a challenge.
As posted previously, my new project is about ‘Atrocity’. This looks at: Genocide, ethnic cleansing, mass ethnic/religious persecution, political purges/repressions (Politicides), forced labour, slavery, abuse of workers, slave trade’s, war crimes, ancient war atrocities, actions of individual leaders, anthropologically exacerbated famines and disease outbreaks.
The work will be available to buy at the LCB depot. The dates and time have yet to be confirmed.
The idea is to sell work, and the backdrop will be 6 bullets. The installation was manufactured over a week.
Here are some images of the sculpture:

By adamkhalifa in blog onToday is the final day for the St Matthew’s Art show 2019. The visitor count has been a lot lower than I expected. The opening times are from 3-8pm. The low footfall, has allowed me to work on my work backlog and plan for newer projects. The process of planning is very important to me. This allows me to define a clear path to my target.
The next project is a collaborative process. I will be working with Steven Allbutt, my art mentor and current Director at studionAme.

By adamkhalifa in blog onFriday 30.08.2019 was the private viewing for the St Matthew’s Art show 2019. A project for the St Matthew’s community, for the wider community.
Bringing different sections of the community together in collaboration. This is the 2nd time we are running the event. The previous winners of 2017, now facilitating this project from start to finish.
Access to creative skills and discourse is freedom to do and, to express yourself. To make informed decisions for the right reasons. We want to empower the local makers to organise and implement their own programme for their community.
ST MATTHEW’S ART COMPETITION

By adamkhalifa in blog onI have been working on getting the St Matthew’s Art show 2019. The artwork is ready to be hung and displayed at the studionAme gallery space. The hope is to try and get this installed over the duration of this weekend. This process has was about engaging with the community. Although, I had very little input in running the Crochet workshop, I am delighted to be leading and taking control of bringing this show within the community for the community. Look forward to seeing you there, perhaps.
Here is the final poster.
